The project funded by EU-FP7 will develop next generation External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS) for new builds and retrofitting  applications.

The main contribution of the institute is within WP1:Development of Insulation Material.

In this WP Norner will contribute in the development of a polystyrene based nanofoam involving the tailoring of the polymer structure, development of nucleation agents and an environmentally friendly fire retardant system free of bromine.
