Project Description:

The main goal of the project is to develop innovative solutions and methods for secure and authentic long term preservation of digital data.

In previous projects (including MiLoS and AStoR) technology and components for a complete system for long term preservation and indexing of digital data, called Piql Preservation Service (PPS) have been developed. PreservIA is aiming a big leap forward by including new and innovative functionalities of the piqlFilm, piqlBox and piqlBin so that security, immunity and authenticity is better ensured whilst at the same improving the environmental impact, all this without compromising the lifetime of 500 years.
