The project is intended to develop new sustainable products for combating persistence of Listeria monocytogenes in biofilm in the aquaculture industry.

In this project, polymeric materials, coating, solutions containing biofilm inhibiting compounds are developed and utilized in the aquaculture industry, including transport, processing and storage environment in order to reduce the prevalence of Listeria.
