Project main objective: 

The FuturePack  project aims to find sustainable and economically viable solutions to technological, societal, political and environmental challenges in order to develop Norwegian plastic packaging materials for the future.

Norner contribution:

R&D partner, packaging material development using recycled PE and PP, develop new packaging designs fit for recycling, test and characterise the packaging materials, verify ethylene and propylene from biomass and plastic waste as drop-in monomers for PE and PP production in bench scale, communicate results in various fora.
